‘Bird Song’ tells the story of the metamorphosis from one career to another as it happens in stages.

In my case, from a graphic designer to a ceramic artist. The hard-edge of a software interface … to the corners being rubbed off as I pushed back on all things digital… to eyes wide open and all rigidity gone … to finally, symmetry no longer needed, straight lines rejected and the organic form embraced as I finally find flow in the moment… Aand a little gold bird finds her voice - not perfectly lustred yet - but beginning to shine …
