These beautiful Black Magpie totemwas commissioned as a very special milestone gift.

Standing 1700mm with a diameter of about 250mm at the base and 110mm at the top, the totem features two magpies singing.

It is slightly conical in shape and made up of six ceramic pieces stacked one on top of the other supported by PVC pipe and concrete base.

The totem is carved and decorated with sgraffito in mid fire black clay slip, oxides, glazes and mosaics.
