Banksia garden totem

The Banksia totem is simpler design without the inclusion of a bird motif. It celebrates the decorative nature of the Australian banksia. The crowning glory at the top was inspired by a banksia flower and the body design of flowers, seed pods and leaves is carved and decorated with sgraffito, oxides, glazes and mosaics.

This work stands roughly 1700mm high with a diameter of about 250mm at the base and holds the space on it’s own or sit comfortably together with the Galah and the Gum Blossom totems.

The conical shape is made up of six ceramic pieces that sit securely on a PVC pipe that requires either a metal stake in a garden bed or a custom-made terrazzo-style base for use on a balcony or courtyard. The PVC pipe is included in your price, however the choice of support is up to you and purchased separately.
